Berry Hill Under Fives Group is a charity run organisation operating from within the grounds of Five Acres High School.

Our premises

Our premises consists of a spacious indoor environment with a large playroom, where the children can enjoy activities such as the book corner, construction space, creative area, or free play (child initiated).

We have a refreshment area, easy access toilet with changing facility, an office, and a large kitchen.  The outdoor area  provides a large all weather grassed area with wooden play frame, large outdoor equipment and resources. Our mud kitchen, enables the children to experience uses their senses.

Our aim

Berry Hill Under Fives Group provides a safe and secure learning environment where the children can explore, be creative and enjoy their learning experiences.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework and Birth to Five matters (our curriculum).

 The EYFS ensures:

                 -  children learn though play

                 -  providers work closely with parents and carers

                 - as parents you are kept up to date on your child's progress

                 - The welfare , learning and holistic development of children with different backgrounds and levels of ability, including those                       with Special Educational needs and disabilities
